A Little More Fall Sewing with a sprinkle of holiday cheer

Once I finished this one, I thought “why not make another one with left over pieces” ….

When I made the first on of these A little fall sewing, I used a precut – 5″ pack that I had there.

I sewed from corner to corner to make the HST’s.  What is left over is a little smaller triangle.  So, since I had so many of those, I might as well use them up.

I did try a something different when I made these ones, rather then leaving a section of the edge open, I opened an internal seam.

Then when I did the SITD (stitch in the ditch) I made sure to stitch on the side that had the material so that it closed off the seam.
It worked out so much nicer this way – I know seems weird, but it really made a difference. Closing the edge seems are so difficult.

Bunny Trails

I needed to do some work with something other than the keyboard that I have been stuck to lately – so I went to the dollar store and found these adorable Easter Lights. Now what to do with them…

They are just the cutest little things.  Well after I made the wreath, I had a little extra of the ribbon…

It looks so cute sitting on this small chest of drawers she uses as a file cabinet in the office.

It holds all her seasonal decorations and is quite stylish at the same time.

2022 Holiday Decorating – Windows

So I was on a roll after doing all the doors on our floor – and we’ve been under a lot of stress this year – I wanted to do something to cheer up my co-workers and this is what I came up with.

He is about 4 feet tall from chin to tip of antlers and so so so cute and really cheered them up – mostly because as soon as you walked into the atrium, you could see his antlers peeking over the cube walls and you couldn’t help but smile.
