They say summer goes fast, faster than you can even imagine.  Well our summer came to a screeching halt with a storm that blew thru on a Monday evening.  90+ mph winds.

Under all those trees are 1 truck, 1 suv, 1 service van and 1 storage trailer.  All of our vehicles. The house and garage are behind this pile. No real damage to structures – both need new roofs, but nothing else.

I also lost all of my flower crab trees that I planted back in the 90’s.

We planted those trees when we moved into this house in 1982. We used to have a beautiful shaded driveway – well now I have lots of sun. More than I know what to do with.

So the views are gonna be a little different now. But that’s nature for you.
