My collection of things.

Welcome to 2021

Well 2020 went out with a bang – in more ways than one around here.

With the holidays the way there were this year everything just sort of slipped by, almost unnoticed.

So my resolutions this year are sort of self serving.  Some would say that is selfish, others would say  “it’s okay to work on you for awhile”.  I’m in-between on that – but I am going to set some goals for myself. Because that is something that can help keep us going – even if they are self-serving goals.

So I have this stack of project boxes – I’ve shown them before. The stack continues to get larger, unfortunately, currently it stands at 6′ tall (left).  So this year, I am going to set a challenge of completing 1 project box each month. My goal is to get them emptied – only because there are other projects waiting in the wings to refill those boxes.  I have gotten rid of some of the kits I had – I wish I had gotten rid of more, but that just didn’t happen. I am happy to say that I have refrained from purchasing any new projects the last year – so that is something.

Some other projects I am planning out:

  • Shirt Pillows
  • finishing a bathroom in our basement (this is a team project)
  • Gutting my craft room – yes in the midst of emptying those project boxes (I am a multi-tasker)

Wish me luck – I’m gonna need it.
