Geometry Lesson #1 – Geese Migration

So today was Geometry Lesson day – #1 Round disc into flying geese and squares.

The discs were 9 1/2 inches across – so I really had to do some tricky cutting to get the center of the geese and the 3 1/2 square for the side.  But all in all I love how it turned out. This little quilt is one of the first completely finished ones that I have – because of the pattern. It is circles attached as squares then folded over and sewn down. It’s a small little lap quilt but just right some times. I have it laying one the back of my couch so when the hubby and dogs have all the other lap blankets tied up, I can grab this one.
