Little, but Cute project

So I again am coming in under the wire to have something creative done each month.

This little gem is just so darling and if it wasn’t for the problems my HQSS gave me I could have had it done in half the time it took me.

It’s not complete – I still have to bury my threads, but it is just so darn cute I can’t help myself.

My goal was to have it be 42×50, but I had some issues with it and it ended up to be 40×39.  It’s a summer quilt/blanket.

Cotton digital print with flannel back. I mimicked the water current of the cotton print, left the Loon’s alone. It is just so darn cute.

This is for a 4 year old’s birthday who loves Loons.   Perfect weight of a summer blanket to take down to the beach or to the fire pit.

Learned a lot in this one, so that the other 3 I have laid out should go so much quicker.
