Well, when I first looked at this plan (rerouted plan) I didn’t think it was going to be very big. But this one grew and grew and grew – which is totally fine ‘cuz now it’s a nice size.
This what not what I had planned to do, but it turned out nice and bright.
There were some challenges because of the way the QST blocks were made – the Ellen Burns Flying Geese is fabulous, if you use them for geese. If you don’t – link in my case, it is very difficult to put the QST blocks together becuz most of the seems all run the same say. Maybe 1 out of 4 were able to be nested, and if one side could be nested the bottom side did not. But the blocks were so square, even and flat that all of these turned out great.
So this one is now off to the UFO pile – I don’t have a backing for it but I do have binding … maybe I should get 4 different bins for the UFO’s –
- Tops
- Tops with backing
- Tops with binding
- Tops with backing and binding
So this is how I can tell I’m worn out – my OCD button is on high – but it is a good idea, I just don’t know where I could put 3 more bins.
