So after finishing up the loon quilt yesterday, I was going thru stacks of fabric and I came across a few (12) kits that I didn’t know I had – you know the old “out of sight, out of the husband’s view” syndrome. I pulled out 2 kits that I decided I would do. They are little girly quilts, and I was just in that kind of mood.
Well, kit 1 was missing the pattern – so I have to wait until that comes – hopefully soon. Then I came across this really pretty little Fairy with Unicorn panel kit. So cute, so so cute. So I started it yesterday and finished up today. I would have been done a lot sooner if I would have NOT followed the little pattern that was with it. It was vague and referenced the material incorrectly (I had 2 fabrics, it only referenced 1). Who ever wrote it should not be writing up patterns. And the backing was miss measured (If you followed the pattern). So I just thru another border around the outside with what was called out for the back – I think it’s even cuter this way.
