and one more idea

The holidays are done and packed away. We can all start to relax and do the things we love to do.

Since it was another 4 day weekend, but this time I had no crafting that had to get done for a gift, I decided to try something that I’ve always wanted to do.  Rustic signs.

I made a sign for a gift for Christmas, I sort of got the bug to try some other techniques. So I did.

You can tell how successful you are by the size of the mess when you are done.. at least that’s how I measure it.

Doing these odd ball crafts is very exhausting – I’m not used to using my brain for physically creative things, being a programmer by day most of my creativeness is in the database programming world (digital data) not the physical. So taking these weekends to do something so out of the normal is exhausting and invigorating at the same time.

I bought a package of 10×10 canvasses , on sale at Joann’s of course, I wonder what I could come up with to do on those???? Can’t wait to see what I can find on Pinterest to do with those.
