Customized Note Cards

The art of scrapbooking is to seeing a second or third or more, use for something. Being a scrapbooker, after I drew the Lily for chapter 4, my mind started thinking ‘what else could I do with this file.”

Well sometime ago, I had purchased the adapter and pens to use on my cricut machine and being that I had the other machine too I got pens that fit that one also. It’s been about two years since I got this stuff and I have yet to use them. So putting 2 + 2 together – I thought “Why not? Let’s see how it works.”

So I loaded up the mini-sharpee pens into the holder for the KNK and sent it off to write/cut. Then I had to decide what to do with them…A group of local women are doing the 3-Day Breast Cancer walk here in Minnesota in August and they are having a Silent Auction this weekend to help raise the money ($2300/per walker).

On one of the cards, I stamped “hello”, just to give it a little something extra.

So there it is, I have used this same image for three things

  • Solution to an assignment (Line drawing – Chapter 4)
