Chapter 15 – Abstract

Okay – so some of these aren’t exactly what the exercise called for,  but abstract is abstract.

#1 Create an abstracted image by starting with a realistic illustration and alter it.

I downloaded this set of vector graphics and combined them with the original horse illustration.

This one I did, it’s not really a part of the assignment, but it was fun:


#2 Make an image by depicting an object in extreme close-up or at an odd angle so that it’s not immediately recognizable.

#3 Make a visual pun by combining two different objects.


#4 Create an image using nonrepresentational abstract.
